Recent years have witnessed a remarkable growth in financial and banking activity in Libya, which was the result of a set of efforts and endeavors to provide an alternative system to the traditional usurious system and to benefit from the experiences of previous countries in this field. This growth has been reflected in several sectors, including the banking sector and the Takaful insurance sector, in addition to several interests in the accounting standards and environment that keep pace with this growth. The first conference of the College of Islamic Economics and Administration at the "Sayyid Muhammad bin Ali al-Sanusi Islamic University" comes to support this growth and keep pace with its various developments and transformations, and to enrich scientific research in this field.
